Text: Philippians 3:8 (KJV)
Topic: The Trophy, the Glory — All I Bring to You, Lord!
"Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ." — Philippians 3:8 (KJV)
Bishop Amajene emphasizes that true believers in Christ shift their focus from the earthly accolades — the trophies bestowed upon them by people, family, community, or nation — to redirect all glory to the Lord who empowers them with wealth and recognition. He points out that individuals often fail to acknowledge the role of the divine in their success, wrongly attributing their achievements solely to their own efforts.
Bishop Amajene attributes his current and future accomplishments entirely to the grace of the Lord. He acknowledges the support of those inspired by God to stand with him, expressing deep gratitude for reaching this point in his journey.
In a profound statement, Bishop Amajene asserts that serving the Lord is a truly fulfilling experience. He reveals a lesser-known truth: those who have God dwelling within them naturally radiate light wherever they go. It is not one's strength or intelligence that attracts glory — it is God's grace.
The Bishop concludes his reflections with heartfelt gratitude toward the Lord for His blessings, acknowledging that all glory rightfully belongs to Him alone. Every trophy, every honor, every achievement — laid at His feet.
