Established under the leadership of the Holy Spirit through Bishop Samson Amajene, our church is dedicated to preaching the Gospel of Peace, nurturing strong families, making and equipping disciples for the Kingdom of God. About Bishop Amajene

Bishop Samson Amajene has the distinct honor of serving as the Senior Pastor ofProphetic Grace Gospel Ministries Int’l Inc., also known as Grace Gospel Church. In this role, he is passionately dedicated to preaching the Gospel of Peace, mentoring disciples and leaders for Christ, and nurturing strong families and relationships within his community. As a devoted author and advocate, he is also actively involved in various global outreach efforts aimed at making a positive impact on people's lives.

Bishop Amajene has been happily married to his beloved wife, Mercy Amajene, since December 15, 1981, marking over four decades of love and partnership. Together, they are blessed with six beautiful biological children and one cherished adopted child.

Bishop Amajene's journey of faith began on February 17, 1985, in Lagos, Nigeria when he encountered the transformative power of salvation through Jesus Christ. This pivotal experience ignited a burning passion for ministry within him, leading him to join Deeper Life Bible Church, where he received profound discipleship and spiritual training. During his time there, he embraced a range of leadership roles, advancing from a Soul-Winner to a Zonal Leader.


In pursuit of further education and spiritual enrichment, Bishop Amajene earned aDiploma in Discipleship from the esteemed Equipping the Saints WorldwideMinistry (African Mission) and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Accountancy & Management Studies in Lomé, Togo.

A significant moment in his ministry occurred during a season of fervent prayer when he felt the Holy Spirit speak to him, declaring: "Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water that shall bring healing, comfort, peace, and blessings to the nations of the world. The anointing shall flow out of you" (John 7:38). This profound revelation inspired him to establish Grace Gospel Church, a ministry focused on evangelism and equipping believers for the imminent return of Christ. Under his visionary leadership, the ministry has launched impactful programs, including anInternational Bible Study, a School of Discipleship and Leadership, and various humanitarian services designed to meet the diverse needs of the community.

Bishop Amajene has also engaged in extensive missionary work throughout theNiger Delta region of Nigeria, collaborating with local church leaders to share the message of Christ in challenging riverine communities.


Recently, in response to God’s renewed calling on his life, Bishop Amajene planted a new church in Baltimore, MD, where he remains unwaveringly committed to winning souls and making disciples for Christ. This endeavor stands as a testament to his dedication to fulfilling the Great Commission.

His passion for promoting healthy families and relationships extends globally, empowering couples to strengthen their bonds, nurture meaningful friendships, and facilitate reconciliation within broken relationships.

In 2003, he authored several impactful books, including "Love Apples for Singles," "200 Ways to Make Your Wife Happy," "200 Ways to Make Your Husband Happy,"and "The Successful Family," all of which have positively influenced countless families and enriched their lives. Through collaborative outreach initiatives, his ministry organizes annual programs for widows and provides essential support to families transitioning from Africa to life in the United States, all for the glory of God.

Bishop Amajene's unwavering commitment to peacemaking within his community and the Niger Delta region was recognized with the esteemed Ambassador of PeaceAdvocate award in 2015. With great joy and humility, he continues to serve as a faithful servant of Christ, devoted to spreading His love, truth, and peace to every corner of the world.
