Journey of Faith

Bishop Amajene's journey of faith began on February 17, 1985, in Lagos, Nigeria, when he encountered the transformative power of salvation through Jesus Christ. This pivotal experience ignited a burning passion for ministry within him, leading him to join Deeper Life Bible Church, where he received profound discipleship and spiritual training.

During his time there, he embraced a range of leadership roles, advancing from a Soul-Winner to a Zonal Leader.

Author & Family Advocate

His passion for promoting healthy families and relationships extends globally, empowering couples to strengthen their bonds, nurture meaningful friendships, and facilitate reconciliation within broken relationships.

In 2003, he authored several impactful books, including "Love Apples for Singles," "200 Ways to Make Your Wife Happy," "200 Ways to Make Your Husband Happy," and "The Successful Family" — all of which have positively influenced countless families and enriched their lives.

Through collaborative outreach initiatives, his ministry organizes annual programs for widows and provides essential support to families transitioning from Africa to life in the United States, all for the glory of God.

Education

In pursuit of further education and spiritual enrichment, Bishop Amajene earned a Diploma in Discipleship from the esteemed Equipping the Saints Worldwide Ministry (African Mission) and a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from the University of Accountancy & Management Studies in Lomé, Togo.

The Prophetic Call

A significant moment in his ministry occurred during a season of fervent prayer when he felt the Holy Spirit speak to him, declaring:

"Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water that shall bring healing, comfort, peace, and blessings to the nations of the world. The anointing shall flow out of you."

— John 7:38

Establishing Grace Gospel Church

This profound revelation inspired him to establish Grace Gospel Church, a ministry focused on evangelism and equipping believers for the return of Christ — including an International Bible Study, a School of Discipleship and Leadership, and various humanitarian services designed to meet the diverse needs of the community.

Bishop Amajene has also engaged in extensive missionary work throughout the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, collaborating with local church leaders to share the message of Christ in challenging riverine communities.

Recently, in response to God's renewed calling on his life, Bishop Amajene planted a new church in Glen Burnie, MD, where he remains unwaveringly committed to winning souls and making disciples for Christ. This endeavor stands as a testament to his dedication to fulfilling the Great Commission.

Our Purpose

Our Mission

Our mission is to spread the good news of Jesus Christ throughout our community and beyond, fostering spiritual growth and encouraging a deep, personal relationship with God. We aim to cultivate an environment where individuals can experience God's grace, embrace their faith, and live it out in their daily lives.

Our Faith

What We Believe

The Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gracious gift from God that comes through faith in Jesus Christ and His redeeming work on the cross.

The Church

We believe in the importance of the church as the body of Christ, called to worship, serve, and spread the Gospel.

This church accepts the Scripture as its final authority in faith and practice. We also recognize an adaptation of the 1853 New Hampshire Confession of Faith as an accurate reflection of her beliefs.
