I'm God's City of Miracles

Text: Psalm 46:1–5 (NLT)
Topic: I'm God's City of Miracles
"1 God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. 2 So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. 3 Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! 4 A river brings joy to the city of our God, the sacred home of the Most High. 5 God dwells in that city; it cannot be destroyed. From the very break of day, God will protect it." — Psalm 46:1–5 (NLT)
Beloved in Christ, do you feel what I feel reading the Scriptures above? The audacity and confidence with which a human being like us speaks about his faith in God is remarkable. When you have this kind of trust in the Lord, there is nothing like trouble in your life — because you know it is already taken care of.
God is my shade, my strength, and my ever-ready helper in any circumstance or situation I find myself in. There is no reason to fear, since God is with me. He can calm the storm for me, quench the fire, and hide me from the snares of the enemy. The Lord will enable me to face whatever comes my way. I am not afraid. I am God's city of miracles, joy, peace, and pleasant surprises.
When God is with you, there is no dull moment — the Greater One lives in me. What an amazing experience it is to genuinely know the Lord, my source of power and strength. In Him I live and have my being. Some may trust in chariots and horses, but we will remember the name of the Lord our God (Psalm 20:7). In God is fullness of joy, and at His right hand are pleasures — miracles — forevermore (Psalm 16). My life is a stream of joy continuously; I am in God, whose stream never runs dry. Hallelujah!
Happy Mother's Day!
