Peace be with you, beloved family in Christ.

That night the king could not sleep — and in that sleepless night, God was quietly turning the pages of history in favour of His people. What looked like a random insomnia became the moment of divine remembrance. Haman walked in expecting to request Mordecai's death, but instead left publicly honouring the very man he hated. What a mighty reversal!

Today, on this beautiful Easter Sunday, we celebrate the greatest reversal of all — the victory of our Lord Jesus Christ over sin, death, and the grave. Just as God honoured Mordecai at the perfect time, He has already honoured us through the cross and resurrection of Jesus.

Here are five condensed but deeply expressive expository points from Esther 6:1–14:

Life Application Points for Today's World

• In our families, churches, and communities, people sometimes plot, gossip, or attack others out of jealousy or pride — just like Haman. But today's story reminds us: God is watching, and He will vindicate the righteous in due time. Choose to walk in integrity and leave vengeance to the Lord.
• In a world full of betrayal, cancel culture, and unfair treatment, remember that your true honour comes from God, not people. Stay faithful, keep serving, keep standing for truth — your "book of remembrance" is being read at the right moment.
• On this Easter Sunday, look to Jesus. He willingly went to the cross, enduring humiliation so that you and I could receive eternal honour and victory. What the enemy meant for evil, God turned into our greatest triumph through the resurrection!

Let these sink deep:

• God has not forgotten your labour of love.
• Your sleepless night or difficult season may be the very setup for your honour.
• The Lord is a faithful rewarder of those who diligently seek and serve Him.
• What the enemy plans for your harm, God will turn for your good and His glory.
• Your victory is already secured in Jesus Christ!

Beloved, whether you are in the family, church, workplace, or facing opposition anywhere in the world — take courage today. Esther's story shows us that God is never late and never powerless. He is working behind the scenes, even when we see nothing.

This April, as we celebrate Our Month of "Celebrating Our Victory through Jesus Christ," declare with confidence: "My God is turning the page! My honour is coming. My enemies will see what the Lord has done!"

Rise up in faith, serve with joy, and trust the God who honours His own — the same God who raised Jesus from the dead is fighting for you.
