Introduction

Beloved, the story of Esther reminds us that God does not forget His people. He may work quietly, but He always works powerfully. Esther entered the king's presence with wisdom, courage, and divine timing. She did not rush her moment. She waited, prayed, and then spoke truth that changed destiny.

In the same way, God hears the cry of His children. We do not come before Him because we deserve it; we come because of the mercy of God and the finished work of Jesus Christ. Our prayers are answered on the basis of Christ's blood, Christ's righteousness, and Christ's favour upon us. The enemy may plot destruction, but the Lord brings redemption. Satan intended slavery and death, but Jesus Christ brought salvation, freedom, and eternal life.

Many people today treat others with suspicion, selfishness, dishonour, and cruelty. In homes, some speak without love. In churches, some wound others with pride and comparison. In communities, many choose indifference over compassion. In nations, power is often used for selfish gain rather than justice.

Esther's story confronts this world with a holy message: God still raises courageous believers who will not bow to evil, who will not fear men, and who will not hide truth when lives are at stake.

Jesus Christ is the perfect fulfilment of this courage. He did not merely risk His life; He laid it down willingly. Esther went before an earthly king to save a people from death. Jesus went to the cross to save the world from sin, hell, and eternal separation from God. Esther's act brought temporary deliverance to Israel; Christ's sacrifice brings eternal redemption to all who believe.
