Beloved family in Christ, good morning! I am Bishop Samson Amajene, a servant of Christ from Grace Gospel Church. As we walk through this special month of April — Our Month of "Celebrating The Victory of Jesus Christ on the Cross" — let us open our hearts to the powerful testimony in Esther 4:1–17.

Though God's name is not explicitly written in the book of Esther, His sovereign providence and unfailing care are evident on every page. When a wicked plot threatened the complete destruction of God's people, Mordecai and Queen Esther responded with raw honesty, fervent prayer, and courageous faith.

Their story still speaks life, hope, and strength into our daily realities today.

In a world where family members wound one another with words, church fellowships fracture over differences, and communities grow cold with indifference or hostility, Esther's account calls us higher. It reminds us that God strategically positions His children to bring deliverance, just as Jesus Christ willingly laid down His life on the Cross for the salvation of souls. His victory over sin and death empowers us to live with the same bold, sacrificial love.

• Cry unto the Lord early and earnestly — In every family conflict, church tension, or personal storm, cry unto the Lord (repeat: cry unto the Lord). Prayer is not a last resort; it is our first and most powerful response.

• Live sacrificially because of the Cross — Esther risked her life to save her people; Jesus gave His life to save the world. Celebrate the victory of Jesus Christ on the Cross by walking in courageous, self-giving love.

Dear beloved, Esther's courage was not the absence of fear but the decision to obey God despite the risk. Her story comforts us that no plot of the enemy is greater than God's providence. In our modern world of broken relationships and spiritual battles, you are called to be an Esther — crying out, uniting others, and stepping forward in faith.

As we celebrate the victory of Jesus Christ on the Cross this April, remember: the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you. Rise up! Your moment is now. Deliverance is coming as you trust and obey.

May the Lord fill you with fresh boldness, unshakeable faith, and overflowing joy in His victory today.
