DAY 4: ANOINTING
Luke 4:18–19 — "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord."
Isaiah 10:27 — "And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing."
Introduction
Fresh fire simply means the anointing of the Holy Spirit that is ever-present in your heart. It takes a Christian who is anointed and on fire to live like Jesus. Every believer in Christ should always pray for a fresh anointing and the fire of the Holy Spirit. When a Christian is on fire, the devil cannot manipulate him or his blessings. Many Christians are going from place to place for prayers because they lack the anointing and fire of the Holy Spirit. When you carry fire, you become invincible. One of the greatest weapons for crushing the oppression of the enemy is to be baptised in the Holy Ghost.
When you are baptised in the Holy Ghost, your life becomes too hot for the enemy to handle. If you have noticed every symbol of oppression, intimidation, manipulation, and wickedness, it is an indication of the fact that your fire is depleted. To keep maintaining the anointing and fire, you need to go to God for fresh fire.
Holy Spirit baptism is the symbol of the overflowing presence of God in your life. The moment you are endued with fire from on high, you will become master over circumstances and forces of darkness. The anointing is to do the work of the ministry and impact lives positively.
As we fast and pray these prayer points for fresh anointing and fire, I see the oil of God, glory, and power upon your life. There shall be restoration of hearing from the Lord. You shall hear the Rhema word, in Jesus' name. Pray these prayer points with faith today and allow God to work through you!
Prayer Points
1.
Holy Ghost fire, envelope every area of my life, in Jesus' name.
2.
Lord, I receive fresh fire to run through the troops and leap over the wall, in Jesus' name.
3.
My Father, let Your anointing and power manifest in my life, in Jesus' name.
4.
Oh Lord, let anything hindering the power of God from flowing through me be taken away, in Jesus' name.
5.
Lord, by Your anointing I trample upon every serpent and scorpion, in Jesus' name.
6.
Holy Spirit, anoint my ears, my eyes, and my mouth to speak Your word, making an impact, in Jesus' name.
7.
I receive the anointing to do the work of the ministry, preach, and teach the word, in Jesus' name.
8.
I rebuke and sack every spirit of failure, in Jesus' name.
9.
I dismantle every roadblock and obstacle to my breakthrough by the anointing of the Lord, in Jesus' name.
10.
Oh Lord, arise and make my life untouchable, in Jesus' name.
11.
Lord, I cast out every spirit of lukewarmness and procrastination in my life, in Jesus' name.
12.
Father, fill me up with a fresh anointing and fire, in Jesus' name.
13.
Father, let Your revival break out in my life, in Jesus' name.
14.
Father, incubate me with Your fire and anointing, in Jesus' name.
15.
Lord, let Your anointing break every bondage, yoke, and chain in my life, in Jesus' name.
16.
Lord, as I move forward into the new year and beyond, let every strange spirit flee from me by the anointing of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus' name.
17.
Lord, catapult my spiritual life to the mountaintop experience, in Jesus' name.
18.
Father, let signs and wonders be my lot, in Jesus' name.
19.
I decree the joy, peace, and blessings of the Lord upon my life, in Jesus' name.
20.
Lord, I break every negative influence of every strongman or woman around me, in Jesus' name.
