"Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God's right hand. ² Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. ³ For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God." — Colossians 3:1–3 (NLT)

We are so ignorant of spiritual things that we always think of physical things because they are what we see, touch, and feel with our five senses. However, we need to be spiritually minded and be sensitive to what is going on in our environment as we go along in our journey of life.

Spiritual things are real things, just like things in the physical world. The Kingdom of God is spiritual, and if we want to be part of it, we must be spiritually minded. The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17).

Think of it this way: how much righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit do you express to people daily as a believer in Christ? It is not just ordinary happiness, but joy that radiates from you and positively impacts your environment. You become a peacemaker wherever crisis or the enemy is operating — simply by your presence.
